It's been a really long time since I popped in for a visit, but I just wanted to share an extraordinary piece of artwork from this side of the planet.....

A local artist was asked to make a Nataraj for a Zambian devotee, and this is what he's done. His small, humble workshop and, of course, his amazing talent, produced this piece.

Shiva is now positioned in Zambia, overlooking the Zambezi River, in all his glory.

It's in Zambia, so what's Zimbabwean about it?

Maybe because there is a dog guarding the statue instead of a bull.

The statue was built by Zimbabwean artisan, the very first post makes it amply clear.

If you find my posts confrontationist, please bear, I am an old frustrated guy who has nothing better to do than sit on rocking chair and curse the world whole day
