Your must-go places

Kanbe

List the four top attractions/towns/cities you have crossed in your heart that you will endeavour to go/do in your lifetime. Can be general or a specific place

here's mine:

1. Sikkim
2. Gomateshvara statute in Sravanabelagola, Karnataka
3. Saurashtra in Gujarat: Palitana and Junagadh temples
4. Golden Temple in Amritsar

Good idea, lets list four top places in India and four elsewhere:

1. Peshawar, Chitral, Hunza in Northern Pakistan
2. Tibet
3. Mauritius
4. Angkor Wat in Cambodia and Saigon in Vietnam (I just had to squeeze this one in)

In India...i will definitely go to
1. Sikkim, Kunchendzonga National Park
2. Gangotri, Yamunotri
3. Hrishikesh, Haridwar, Kedarnath and Badrinath
4. Rajasthan - all of it.

I know, these count to more than 4. I have already visited some of my other favourite places....kerala, Agra, hampi..etc. That's why they r not anymore in my list.

Among over seas destinations..here is my 'must see' list
1. Ankor Vat
2. Borobodur Place, Bali island
3. Nepal - Annapurna, Everest base camps
4. Manasarovar and Kailash mountains...

If i can add 3 more..Srilanka, Peru and Egypt.
