Talking Wine for you all !!

Well. The countdown has already started for the New Year Eve bang.

May I share my wine with all of you!!

Where would you be opening the cork on the globe?
Any excitements to share…

(BTW did you notice that the bottle is half full? That is the optimistic way of looking at 2004!)

Newcastle, Australia. Most biggish towns and cities have fireworks displays so I'll watch that. Then I was thinking of going to the nightclub afterwards but I hate the band they got on. You would think with a name like "Machine Gun Fellatio" they would be really good, but no, they are crap (though it seems most everyone else loves them). I might go anyway, we'll see, as they got dancing too. Then I got a Scottish family late lunch/early dinner on New Year's Day which is a family tradition.

Thanks for sharing your wine beach! And a Happy New Year to you!

I guess it won't come as any surprise if I tell you that Caroline and I will be having a quiet night in, a nice dinner and a bottle of red wine with it. Can't handle the excitement these days!

Best New Year's wishes. How many days after that beach?

It will be a quiet night for me. Early to bed and early to rise as usual.

hi beach,
St. Philomena's church, 3 km from Mysore has lovely stained glass windows, Gothic style medieval look and rare for India.
Count your wishes on Jan 1 there * 8am to 6 pm *
Best wishes for the new year.

Beach,
You may want to hang around Mysore Palace on the NYE. They have some good lighting around the palace. Or you may also want to be in Brindavan Gardens (20km from Mysore) where they have musical fountain.

We will be in York (UK) celebrating in the best pub, The Maltings, which has a great range of beers. Just before midnight we will go to stand outside York Minster, to hear the bells herald the new year and watch the fireworks. If you fancy joining us, there will be 3 (probably!) middle aged i(n body but not mind )women and a chap of the same age (bearded, slightly portly - its the beer!) in the Maltings from about 7pm. Come and join us and we can plan our next trips to India!
