No, I'm not an Iskcon member, just an IM member
I like to find myself my own answers probably. I think many Hindu gods teach fearlessness, I haven't certainly defeated fear, but I'm not scared of losing my body either (well, if that would be a process involving pain things would be different, of course).

I hate to admit it (as I felt a bit like a circling buzzard) but that was one of my first thoughts when I saw the news myself. The Taj web reservation system quickly dissuaded me of that notion with a best price of 13,600 rupees (280 usd) in mid January
I was thinking more about booking through my partner's work, they got him a fantastic deal (Rs 6000 I think) a few months back.

Doubt they would drop their prices because of the attacks, they have a lot of expensive building work to pay for. Besides they are the best, and people will still be travelling for business. Basically, they can charge whatever they like and they'll get plenty of customers still. Dropping the prices on their website at least would send the wrong message to tourists I think.

Yes, we cannot give answers to each other, just as we cannot exchange experiences (so we say something was like this or like that, which is analogy) - it seems this is why we all continue to communicate so ineffectively. Doesn’t everyone see the world through the lens of their own mind camera - so this world appears in his or her mind only, and it’s so restless, like a strong dog on a leash, dragging us here, there and everywhere. But I think you as a musician you can find an inner peaceful space because of art, the artless have a problem with finding that place. Maybe that's why you have the Blue one's avatar, he being the consummate flautist.

Actually I just realised that the picture is one of those images that you choose- duh!

I suppose it is all relative. Hotels of the calibre that the Taj purports to be would cost twice as much in the areas I typically travel so even their current rate is a bargain in many ways.
