Where to find sari blouse pattern?

OK, this is probably one for the ladies but all suggestions will be helpful...

Where can I find a dress-making pattern for a standard sari blouse - front fastening if possible? Preferably in the UK, but over the net otherwise...oh, and it needs to fit a 'western' frame (wider shoulders etc.)

I bought a Mekhela Chader (kind of two piece sari typical of Assam) a couple of days before we left. The two main pieces are accompanied by a short length of fabric for the blouse, which I didn't have time to get made up by a local tailor.

I'm not bad with a needle and thread but I need a very good pattern as the silk is too beautiful to make a mess of it. For the textilephiles among you, the fabric is red and silver 'Pat' silk brocade - an absolutely cracking piece of work - I will post a picture when the outfit is complete. And yes, I intend to wear it - even here in the tundra!

By the way (again for the textilephiles), it's not true that the fabulous golden 'Muga' silk is only available in Sualkuchi near Gauwahati. They were also weaving Muga at the place I bought my Mekhela - Dibrugarh. The quality was every bit as good and indeed the golden cocoons are actually produced nearer here.

Cheers
TQ

Perfect, thanks Ddutta - the belly dance costumes look pretty cool too but I'm not sure I'd brave one of those in an Aberdeen winter - brrrrr!
