Where the Mind is Without Fear in Florida
I am a newcomer to this forum. I have been reading the interesting threads that have been followed and developed. I am a student in Florida. I shall be reading Tagore's famous poem to a huge audience most of whom don't follow Bengali. I am also reading the translation so that they can understand what Tagore intends in the poem. I am lookign forward to do this as I will get a feel of trying to explain the nuances of the gap between Indian languages that leaves many readers in the dark about great works in languages other than their own. I'll write about my experience soon. I am looking forward to a great discussion on this forum at IndiaMike!
