Question Where are you now? ...and how's the weather?

Some members are currently scattered across India and a lot of us are still suffering at home, either getting ready to go or perhaps stuck for a while and living vicariously through other's travel adventures.

Here is your chance to gloat or whine . For those in India, please also include a 'mosquito report', subjective as it might be.

It is clear and cold here in south coastal BC -- down to a frosty -5C last night, but daytime up to +6 or so. After record heat all summer and through september, record rainfalls and flooding in october, now it's winter weather in november! at least the sun is shining.

How about you??

... White Coppice, Lancs, UK ... it's in the north of England on the West Pennine Moors, nearest cities Preston and Manchester of Commonwealth Games 2002 fame.

Weather today was sunny in the morning and cloudy this afternoon. Spent a couple of hours in the field next to our house tidying up after 5th November yesterday. We get a festival then to commemorate something to do with the War on Terror 17th century style with fireworks and bonfires, burning effigies of the infamous traitor Guy Fawkes!

Today it was mild for our temperate maritime climate at around 13 or 14 degrees with an early sunset at around 16:40 hours.

Nice time to pack up and visit India but instead are packing for our December move to Australia.

Still stuck in New Jersey on a cool rainsoaked day. Autumn has swept through the coast causing all the trees to change color into vibrant shades of orange and yellow.
Todays rain has brought most of the leafs down leaving the covering the ground with them. I predict a long weekend spent with the leaf blower.

Here's a pic I just snapped (my camera is still acting kinda funky) as I looked up from the desk. Those are leaves piled on the ground with my name on them.

85 days and counting the seconds till I get on da plaaaane!
Here 100km S of San Francisco, winter has come, expecting a monsoon dounpour this afternoon. Just finished watching Ashoka, dark, brooding film, but I learned some hindi from it, so it wasn't a total wash. I'd rather be in Malgudi, that's for sure!

now i see why no one talks about weather here-it is the same, day after day after day! ever since i got here a month ago (bhopal) it has never changed. to me anything above 70 degrees fahrenheit is hot, so i call it hot. one day it rained for about 20 minutes, and it was the best rain i ever had-

the weather report in the india times is hilarious-every day, all it says is ' possibility of rain in orissa, madhya pradesh, maharashtra' etc etc etc naming just about every state in the country.

i am very happy here, hoping to connect with wonderwoman soon

In Hyderabad as of yesterday. Weather has been pleasant in the evenings. still a little warm for me in the afternoons ( 30 c). Mosquitoes are the worst I have ever seen. Far worse than they were last year in the monsoons. Tons of rain lately too though.

I left Melbourne a month ago, came up to Townsville and ended up buying a house, a short trip back to Melb to organise my furniture which turned up yesterday and here I am!! Three computers, lots of Indian spices and a plan to go back to the sub-continent early next year except I will be flying out of Brisbane probably. 28 degrees here at 8:10PM, I love the heat...

You can "see" for yourself what the weather is like here in Jyväskylä, Central Finland through this webcam: http://ns1.keskisuomalainen.fi/webcam/

It's getting colder and darker day by day... winter's coming!
Today the sun is out, though

It's a lovely autumns day here in the Netherlands, the sun is shining, and it's a crisp 9 C!! The mornings are getting colder though but hey I finished work today, so no more cold mornings for me!!
Only 6 more days of normality before setting off for home, mother India!!

How's the weather?

Checking in from slightly south of Los Angeles, Ca. sunny, crisp(high40's low 50's in the am.) waiting for the downpour coming south from Bijapuri-land!!!

If no rain, should be high 60's low 70's.

Bij-send down the rain will ya?!?!?!

beautiful Santa Monica, California

same weather as KariB

sunrise at the beach was epic, crisp cool air, and the Los Angeles smog lending itself to add a swirling variety of colors in the sky

early morning wave rides - and an even nicer swell heading in this weekend!!!

Nice thread Mike2 ... but wouldn't it be nice though if we all quoted our respective temperatures in the same scale?!?

If I may quote KariB ...

Jesus you are gonna die in that heat.
