Rain ? where ?

warm but tolerable. however, no rains here in Mysore.

Massive storm in Delhi this morning. Hit us in South Delhi at around 9. Took about 1 hour to cover the first 3 Km's to office for no other reason except visibility was down to 0. Horizontal rain battering the car, water clogging ....a total of 2 hours finally to get to cover the 25 odd kms to office...worth it....but starting to clear up a bit..hope it doesnt.

Cloudy skies, looks like rain. Thankfully it's cooler than the last few days.

Wet, miserable ...

Oh - it's a Bank Holiday! Of COURSE it's wet and miserable.

(Scuse me while I crawl into a warm dry corner and whinge quietly)

And it's warm and humid. Not particularly wonderful. At least the ocean is inviting.

Funny weather in Delhi Puchoo! And cooler than expected for this time of the year. Help it holds till I arrive early on 29th for a few days!! Here it's getting more cold...

It is and proven today by a report in the Times stating that this is the heavies rain Delhi has ever received in May since weather started getting recorded here ...... similar conditions expected over the next few days with dying intensity.

even though the sun is out, however the the temperature inside is quite cool, a fan was good enough last night..

A bit chilly in Atlantic Canada (9c) - foliage finally starting to thicken, rain showers with the sun streaming through tears in the clouds often makes for a showy sunset as was the case tonight:

Heavy rains lashed mysore last evening. Was sultry again today and now has started clouding up ! More rains likely

Springtime city garden pics, in order (give or take any mis-classifications): Spiderwort (just bloomed for the first time today!), greater periwinkle (in background: saxifrage, wild forget-me-nots), bellflower, saxifrage, unknown, daisies; garden snail.

And we are getting to the end of "summer" here.

Just a couple of degrees drop, and the mosquitoes are back in force. Damn things. Bring on the genetic modification!
