| IT'S SNOWING IN CARDIFF!  Shame it's in the night, I bet it will be gone by the morning. Wow, I'm such a child. Ran straight out there giggling like an imbecile. Snow! Snnnowwww! Doubt the plants are too happy. Blueberry bush looks mightily depressed, I must say. Oh dear. UPDATE 1 hour later: Still snowing! Still behaving like child! | Loved your pics, Karuna. I have just before seen snow in London on NDTV news - amazing. Hard to believe here, weather is really starting to warm up in the day - full sun, not a cloud in the sky.

| I do.... i love delhi and what it has to offer , but at heart i will always want to be back home in Himachal... Mrs P on the other hand prefers Delhi , straight out , she is a born city girl all the way  Quote:

| Ahhh, Puchoo! I'm caught somewhere in between! I spent some days in Delhi longing for fresh Himachal air, and some freezing nights in Himachal wishing for the warmth of the city. There's just no pleasing some people. (Have to say though, the air in Shimla is sooooo clear; spent a lovely early morning on the Mall, kids playing football, sun coming up over the hills...is this making you homesick? ) |

| yes it is... and to top it all...i love the winter season in the hills, dont really care about the cold, pretty immune to it actually...but a place like Himachal where the pace of life is slow as it is , slows down even more ....the days are spent sunning , reading , long walks with the dog, random trips to the mall...lots of coffee and tea....and when it snows , it takes everything up a notch... |

| according to the the CNN board at columbus circle on my way home from work, it's warmer than it's been-- but still too cold for my liking.  on the other other hand, the lamp-lit snow, viewed from central park west at the end of my street, is very much to my liking indeed!

| Nice pic tacita - first time I've seen CP with nary a lifeform. meanwhile in the true north strong and free & after relatively mild temps and two heavy snowfalls - there is a cold weather warning - especially to all owner's of pets & brass monkeys: please bring inside tonight.
