...or the wrong country !

I suspect a photograph of a sandstorm would probably be a bit like a photograph of a fog! Probably the sort of thing that has to be faked in a film, because the real thing doesn't look like the real thing!

Photograph of a sandstorm about half an hour before it hits you...! That would be something else.

ssall - now that would be a good photo - you see this thick brown cloud approaching spread over the horizon and you know soon you're in for a wild time.

puchoo, thank you, you've made my day. Great photos.

I remember those from when I was little (many years ago). It was a scary sight.

No, alas I wasn't in that one, at least I don't think so. Don't know where it is but doesn't look like it's in India.

Here April weather is some of San Diego, California's best.! Daytime highs of 70 to 75 F. degrees are not uncommon, with a near-perfect relative humidity of 60 percent and bright blue skies. The end of April ushers in the beginning of the night-and-morning-low-clouds-and-fog period, which peaks mid to late May and lasts through June. Locals refer to this as the “June gloom,” when the coast can stay overcast and foggy for weeks. Many beachgoers have been surprised and disappointed during these months. Often, the clouds and fog will clear up several miles inland but not at the beach. However, most days the beaches receive some sun, usually in the afternoon.

The Sweating Months have begun here.

I'm not so keen when it runs into the eyes...

18 in London? Wasn't it freezing just a couple of weeks ago? What a confusing climate!

It was...and according to the BBC, it's back down to 7 degrees already

Here in mauritania, the crazy heat has finally broken and is down to a far more manageable 35 or so. But at least there is now a cool breeze at night
