It'll be the middle of the monsoon in Mumbai, Goa, Kerala and coastal Karnataka. Humidity will be high.
Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh will be comparatively drier.

Time to get out of India at that time of the year!!! It is really hot and sweaty if it does not rain at that time but usually it is raining so a little cooler when it does and hot and humid when it stops inbetween so it is between the devil and the deep sea!!! Not much you can do in these times in South India or the North for that matter. If you come even from April to July the heat will be unbearable for a foreigner and in the north it is usually about 45 to 50 degrees Celsius. I have travelled in the south and the north around this time in June and July and had an excellent trip with a Spanish friend but we really had to rough it out with regard to the HOT weather and I must compliment my friend for the resilience she showed during the whole trip without falling sick anywhere on the whole trip except for one day when we landed in Khajuraho in 50 degrees Celsius temperature!!! Hope this helps.
Hope you have a nice trip whenever you come here and enjoy India wherever you go!!! Take care. Cheers, Aadil.
