Love that place Sama. We stayed in the hotel at the top of the cliff, dead cool, looking over a pink vista knowing that it was flamingoes but not being able to make them out. We didn't see much of the park as our van had a flat tyre which the driver changed right next to a pool of hippos. He called me back as I forgot the danger as I walked off taking photos. Oops.

P.S. Every time you mention about Tanzania it makes me happy, so that's what's making me happy right now.

Just back from taking my girls to see a kids film (Bandslam) at the cinema and shhhh, don't them, but I really enjoyed it

But what makes me really happy is that it was only £0.95 per ticket, much better than the normal £7.80!

that next week I'm getting my yellow fever shot for Tanzania -- yes, really, getting that shot makes me happy because that means there's no turning back now and I'm thinking about those tree climbing lions I will see....

(that thought is for you, OceanTragic! )

Sama, very cool about those tree climbing lions. Take lots of photos so I can show my small lions here at home!

Me, I'm thrilled to have the whole house to myself until Sunday with my sweet kitty cats for Thanksgiving while husband and kids are in Chicago with his crazy mom!

Yep I'm happy again

And such thoughts are reminding me about the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater...but then I think about the Olduvai Gorge and now I'm sad. ...but back to the Hyraxes and now I'm happy again

Seeing old friends and new movies. Planning the next trip (India) before the current one (Paris) is over. Walking in the cold autumnal streets with leaves whizzing around. Eating and drinking too much to compensate for all the walking. Tripping over my tongue talking French again. Trying to catch up on one week of IndiaMike from an internet cafe and failing.
