What's going on in Assam?
Can someone please explain to me what's happening in Assam?
AFAIK it's due to an influx of Muslim settlers displacing indigineous Assamese.
Is this correct and are they Indian Muslims or Bangladeshis?
Excuse my ignorance but it's not always easy for a foreigner to understand these things just by reading newspapers.
