What will you bring home From India?

Another "top 5" Question!

Apart from photographs and memories ( some nice, some not so nice.. ), what are the top 5 items you are planning to bring back home while returning from India?

OK, if you dont have 5 to list, it can be less too.

and most importantly, WHY?

Resident Indians too are welcome to answer ( as a suggestion or view on what the best 5 things could be)

The last time I left I took home an Indian woman. She now works for me as a maid.

I always seem to come back with :

1 - Indian Cookery books

2 - One of those cheapo Malaylam Mahatma Ghandi Calenders ( plain white newspaper type - usually issued by a newspaper with lots of script and a picture of MG on the top of each month. ) As presents too !

3 - A clock. I always seem to bring back a Raj wooden wall clock !

4 - Some pirate Tamil Melody MP3 CD's..

5 - An awsome sun tan..

Does she know you write about her like a piece of property?

As for me, clothes, recipes, spices, and books.
P.s. Oops the and why part. Well, I love to cook and like to look good but am not willing to spend a lot of money on either. Both can be obtained of higher quality, for less money, and more customization. Books I am prone to buy anywhere I can.

A friend of mine wants to know why I don't make curtains out of saris... I say my life is full of India, The house is full of musical instruments, yes there are some gods too: I don't need pseudo-indian decor
