I am very angry that some Muslims in Libya have desecrated the war graves of WW2 Commonwealth soldiers.

The graves desecrated include Indian soldiers as well as Australians, British, Jewish, South African and New Zealanders - all who paid the ultimate sacrifice while fighting for freedom.

What I fail to understand is that these idiots are also claiming to be fighting for freedom. I feel they would unlikely have undertaken the task themselves. It seems to me that their Imam has 'inspired' them to act this way. I am saddened that the western National leaders have demanded action, but not linked the abhorrent act to any religious leader.

that I returned from India on Tuesday and on Wednesday came down with a horrible cold -- ended up finally going to the doctor today since I woke up at 3 AM and coughed for 90 minutes.

two flights, 9 hours each, stuck with 500+ hacking, sneezing people, across 2.5 continents and an ocean....now why wouldn't I get sick?

Wonderful germ mixers, those flying tubes! But then, so are the air-conditioning units in many offices and public buildings. In my last job, we used to say that the function of the AC was to make sure we all caught every bug . Sama, hope you get better very soon.

What was making me Grr, for the past few hours, was the dogs, saying Grr, very loudly, just at the back of the house.

All is quiet now. Phew!

Sama, what a bummer. Always have on hand saline nasal spray, never fails me....keep a bottle or two with you, costs less than $2 at any drugstore. One little tickle or "scratch" (beginning of soreness) in the throat, get right on it (you can snort it several times a day) & it's cured in a day or two. You never get the cold that comes afterwards. Hope you get to feeling better soon, too much to do when just getting home.

Good thing is you have the next several days in bed to plan your NEXT trip to India!!!!

Kindle stolen out of my bag while walking through Jerusalem today, 2 weeks after my bike was stolen from outside my window in Tel Aviv. Still, I suppose I was just as happy before I had either...

After 6 phone calls to my ISP over the last two weeks(been having connectivity problem with WiFi)and being only able to access internet with a dongle, they finally convinced me that It MUST be a problem with my laptop,so i took it to the Apple shop and got charged 70 euros for a 10 min diagnostic to tell me everythings fine with it.
7th phone call to ISP and the guy says 'oh,i'll update your modem' and what do ye know it works fine now.....GRRRRR.
