what can I do at new year's eve in Delhi ?

hello everybody!! I'm coming to Delhi with my friend on 28th dec and we still don't know how to spend new year's eve night...what do you recommend ? we are not oriented on dancing in a club but something more connected to indian culture... maybe indian dances to original hindustani music...

or maybe some meditations ... ? I'm waiting for your suggestions... please ...

Rudi,
January is not that way Indian new year. So all celebrations are of western type that is partying, dancing, feasting and all that sort of stuff mainly.
Meditation might be the last thing on the mind of people in Delhi as far as new year is concerned.
I suggest that you look up the news papers while you are in Delhi. The papers give a list of all happenings in the City on a daily basis.

Im a member of srf or self realization fellowship in the states here in India its called yss or yogada satsanga society.in the states we have a new year meditation every year it starts at 11:30 and goes till 12:30,im sure it is the same here yss does have a center in delhi even if your not member you are more than welcome to come and meditate.I would be there but i will be at the airport picking up a friend.I will be at the all day christmas meditation it starts at 10:00 and goes to 4:00.If your interested here is the number you can call and get directions it is not far from pahar ganj.011-23346271 or 011-23362948
