Couchsurfing is very much alive in it's new format now as CS-2 and it just started functioning yesterday onwards. If you were a new member then you may have to register your name and email again so that they can bring back your old profile or you may have to make it once more if it is totally lost as some of them are in the case of relatively new members. Older members will not need to do so.

Hi Shalin,
I thought you would be the first to know since you were a moderator of one of the groups on CS. Anyway it is not fully operational as there are still some glitches to be smoothened out but most of it is functional so that's what matters most and the best part is that it has restarted which was once a bit doubtful.
