Varanasi/Dharamsala OR Goya/Mumbai

TORN.
I only have two short weeks in India (killing me) and trying to plan my trip...well, as much as I can. I fly into Dehli and was planning on jumping a train to Agra (must) and then to Varanasi. I was going to continue to rishikesh and dharamsala before returning back to SE Asia.

Other option is to do the Taj and then get down to Goa and Bombay. Any suggestions? I might be able to do varanasi and then skip down to Goa afterwards? I can't believe I'm rushing this!!!!!

Depends on when you are going? Seeing the Taj,well you are in India,so i suppose it's a must?? Varanasi,a bit hot,but what the hell must see !!!!!! Goa this time of year might be a bit hot,do what the Raj done, head for the hills and enjoy.

Agree with freenote. Since you have only two weeks, concentrate on one area and that is North. Whether to spend more time in the hills or on the plains will depend on the season.

Can you stand the HEAT?

If not I reccomend going to Dharamsala and taking the rest of your vacation in various areas of the Himalayas.
