Trivandrum to Goa?
How do you get from Trivandrum (or Kovalam) to Goa? How long does it take? Where would be a good place to stay in Goa ( 3*ish with character) somewhere central and nice for a 3 night stay?????

The fastest train is the Rajdhani Express, though this train only runs 2 days a week.
Train 2431 departs Trivandrum (Tuesdays & Thursdays) at 19:15 and gets to Madgaon at 11:25 the following day.
The cost for the Rajdhani Express is inclusive of food.
1A = Rs 3550
2A = Rs 1900
3A = Rs 1275
Distance 1056 Kms.

Train 6346 departs Trivandrum daily at 10:00 and gets to Madgaon at 05:50.
Train 6334 (Mondays), 6336 (Thursdays) & 6312 (Saturdays) all depart Trivandrum at 15:15 and gets to Madgaon at 10:25 the following day.
Prices for 6346, 6334, 6336 & 6312: -
2A = Rs 1511
3A = Rs 964
SL = Rs 353
