Thiruvananthapuram to Karwar, Karwar to Ratnagiri, Ratnagiri to Sawai Madhopur(Ranathambhore National Park), Sawai Madhopur to Bharatpur, Bharatpur to Mathura, Mathura to Pathankot, Pathankot to Dharamsala.
This of course depends on when will you be travelling.

Konichiwa Ikimasho
I visited Ratnigiri in 2001 and spent a most enjoyable day at Ganpatipule, about 50km through the laterite countryside - a great place for those who love Ganesh - and I walked north along very pristine beaches for many kilometres. But for the temperature difference, these beaches were as solitary as those on the very remote western coast of Tasmania. Ratnigiri is a nice town - with interesting Burmese connections, and a restaurant which was highly regarded by some people I met from Brittany, a similarly isolated region in North Western France -but the main problem for tourists is the remoteness from the (relatively new) station built for the Konkan Railway line linking Mumbai and Goa. Keep doing your research and you will enjoy your holiday in India. |
