Hope you didn't fill in any credit card details and passwords and the likes.

Ever heard of phishing yet?

I linked to a Wikipedia article on it in the word above. Here it is again: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phishing.

Essentially, it's someone(s) posing as a company and redirecting you to a site that looks like that company's, or asking you to answer their email with your sensitive information or so, so as to get a hold of stuff like your passwords, credit card details, and such. Can look amazingly convincing; of course, in these cases, it has nothing to do with that company. (Such e-mail addresses and websites are called "spoofed," i.e., faked.)

Be very very wary of such communications, or verify them first. Your bank won't typically just email you to ask you to change your password with them online, etc.

I have no idea why they haven't responded but you could create a thread here : Consumer court forum
and then send a personal message to their official rep : consumercourtforum.in/members/triphelp/

If nothing happens send me a quick message with the url of your thread and I will make sure some one looks into it

So you weren't cheated at all. That's great

I wonder if anybody will change the title of the thread which seems rather unfair on TripAdvisor?
