travelling with an indian partner
question from my son: will he get unfriendly reactions travelling with his Australian born Indian girlfriend?

I travel with my Indian husband and three mixed kids all the time. we get some curious looks, but we get those everywhere. People are intrigued by bi-racial couples and may ask some personal questions. I have never sound this to be insulting and am only too glad to answer them.
Hope this helps.

I wouldn't think so, unless improperly dressed. But even then, Indians are now used to seeing young indian girls dressing like in west. So, I would assume there should be no problem.

There might be some curiosity and a surprised look but no unfriendliness!
Just this morning we had a visit from an Englishman and his Indian wife - they are on a honeymoon and are obviously enjoying themselves hugely!
