Travelling to India...

Riiiiiiiiiiiight....hi folks...am new here and planning my first backpacking trip to India (been India before!)

Am currently looking to backpack the south of India, starting destination being Mumbai/Pune....

Any recommendations....? I have 2 months to do this...kind of scared....!

Also, plan to leave the UK around mid sept....will anyone be out there, that i could visit....?

All help appreciated folks...thanks!

I think you'll do just fine. Plenty of us will be there, so be sure to wear a badge with your screen name, so we can recognize you in the backpacker cafes!

Hiya folks

I fly to India - Mumbai Monday 8th Sept and will arrive Tues afternoon, two days later i will be in goa for a week, which from then we plan to backpack most of the south until mid october...who will be around there?
