Q: Ola!! We're planning a 4-week trip to India in mid Sept to mid Oct, and I have two questions:

1) Based on an itinerary of Delhi & area 1st Week; Calcutta & area 2nd week; Madras & area 3rd week; Mumbai and area 4th week, will the monsoon affect us unreasonably? OR is it best to leave the entire trip for October?

2) How best can we arrange for shipping things back to the West Indies, knowing fully well that we will be travelling and not want to be encumbered with all the stuff as we go along? I guess what I'm asking is what's best way is to consolidate our purchases (souvenirs, mementos) to a central point for shipping? Its unlikely that we'll be at the same location twice.

Any help appreciated.

I think that from mid-September you'll be OK in these places. Can't help with your other question but you can just post things as you go and it's pretty cheap.
