| today was the last day of my MBA course. the class ended a few hours ago. i am feeling terrible. now its back into the dirty world of men and machines for me. no more college. no dazzling lectures to attend. i plan to work for one year, earn some money and get back to college. the dirty world of corporates and companies is not for me. i am scared to enter the real world. i know i am going to miss the joy and security of being in college for ever more. i hate everything. how did you feel on the last day of your formal education ?? |

| I never had one! Actually that is not strictly true, I worked first and after ten years I became a "mature student". Hasn't really helped me to re-enter the "real world", only served to make me see that there isn't one. Everything is maya. Singsub, I wish you all the best in your endeavours. I am starting to like your (warped) sense of humour! |

| If the dirty world of corporates and companies is not for you why did you in the first place enroll for MBA? I had a mixed feeling. When I finished my engineering the job scene wasn't as it is now. Getting a good job was not so easy then. On one hand I was thrilled to land a good job and on the other hand I was quite depressed thinking of leaving the campus. |

| Singsub, no advice, just that no matter what run-ins we may have sometimes had (and yes, I regret a few), to wish you a well-deserved congrats on the successful (I assume?) round-up of your studies. I guess you owe yourself a warm pat on the back, instead of (or at least simultaneously with) all this feeling rotten about it ![]() I don't know, a transition from here to there, and the sudden shock of having successfully brought something to an end (and losing the comfort of the patterns that came with it), can always be a little disconcerting. I guess and in keeping with the theme of this site, a well-deserved break aka holiday if you can manage it (even a long weekend just out of town may work wonders if your means are limited) is always one good way to help see you through such a period! & May help you gain some perspective that comes with a little distance, and so hopefully gain some insights as to your next steps to take. Or just some peace with what has been and whatever is next to come. Well, good luck with it.
