One can only hope the culprits are brought to justice.

One of Mr Modi's pledges when he was voted into office was to tackle corruption, well this unacceptable and unlawful behaviour has been going on far to long and does require stern action IMMEDIATELY. The Prime Minister has a reputation of having intestinal fortitude, well he needs to show some now.

These types of incidents brings enormous harm not only to Indian Railways but also great embarrassment to the country which has continually failed to come down hard on corrupt officials throughout the country.
I feel for Railway Officials who work hard and do the right thing.

It's very hard trying to convince friends and other travellers to visit India when these corrupt practices constantly appear in the headlines.

Lack of a sound value system in Indian society is the issue behind all the other issues, and this can only come about by example and leadership, official and unofficial.
