Certainly not me , allow me to repeat : I´m a assistant nurse in a intensive care unit , a very low position in that organisation. Call me a ventilator wallah , if you like (I´m fairly passionate about that side of my work).

Does that mean you sit cross-legged by the wall, repeatedly pulling on a rope that operates a big fan thing in the ceiling? Like a Punkah wallah?

I thought Intensive Care Units (especially in Europe) were more modern than that these days!....

Well , sometimes it´s a long haul , but I was referrering to the other kind of ventilation. A bit more modern, a lot of it involves setting up and using rigs like this :

...and engage in the the never ending battle of untangling the whole mess
