| Goa was certainly very nice, especially in winter, when I last went in December. The weather was great, not hot or cold, the beaches are beautiful, and they weren't crowded at all. |

| That's really a great question for an Indian to answer who has little spare time between job and family and needs a homeland destination that recharges appropriately. I think the allure for most foreign travellers to India are the plethora of options available (through transportation & logistics savvy) that enable one to traverse the diverse cross-sections of Indian terrain & life and all associated with it. ![]()

| Have been to India twice (and going again in December). Two places stood out above all the places that we have visited on previous trips: Jaisalmer - a great place in the desert with great hospitality. Be sure to find a hotel in the Fort area and go on a overnight desert safari: life changing! The other was Darjeeling. Quite a contrast to the desert, but absolutely amazing. Be sure get take something warm as it gets cold up there, but the Indian and Nepali hospitality makes it worth while! |
