Had a good laugh for the last few posts! And thanks a lot for all the suggestions. I have been to Ashmolean and to the Royal Armories in Leeds. Let me see if I can fit in Cotswolds in this trip.

Once again thanks a lot for your suggestions.

You are also likely to get that British stare too in remote areas.

But above all avoid a handshake from a Glaswegian.

So what's the story here then?
Don't leave us in suspense.

(Or have I not met enough Glaswegians?)

BB - no, you don't pee in the sink in Britain - that's what the telephone boxes are for.

The Department Fun and Good Times recommends that you have few Tequila shots once you arrive at a Bar, in fact, I'll join you.

The Glasgow handshake is also known (more popularly) as the Glasgow kiss. Best if I give you the link for a definition better than I can explain.

hmmm. Its not as well known as I thought.

Should visitors to the UK dye their hair red or blonde?

Re Walking tours generally, some of the group ones are run by BlueBadge Guides so you could ask before you book and if it is they will give you the expertise without the high cost. They do some of the walks in Oxford and Cambridge too.
The boat trip from Westminster pier to Greenwich is good with good sightseeing at both ends. I've not been since the Cutty Sark burnt though.

I think it will be midge season in Skye and, although I've never been, people have told me it's been bad enough to spoil there visit to some extent. Others might know more so worth checking out.

Good pub, and cheapest I've ever been to in London, is the Cardinal on Francis St which is on old fashioned type place which sells Sam Smiths, a good Northern beer, it's near Victoria station.
You'd need an A-Z to find it. Not Gourmet so a place to go before or after eating.

At the moment, both: in stripes. And female visitors must be sure to iron their hair flat before leaving the house, or scrape it up into a ponytail (Croydon facelift).

And before anyone asks, yes, you can get milk in the UK.

Can you buy property in Brighton?! Do you have ££millions? Beach hut in Skegness, maybe!

the "buying a property in Brighton" was just a joke of course, but I like the idea for tequila shots as an entry requirement. Glad to see you picked up on the theme of the post.
