Sister City

Are there any IMers from Australia who know if their city or town has a sister city relationship with an Indian city?

The regional city where I live in Australia are in the preliminary stages of investigating possible sister city relationships in India. Any help would be much appreciated.

My understanding is that currently thre are no major capital cities in Australia that have a sister city in India.(Not sure about regional areas though) I could be wrong and would like to be stand corrected by other IMers...

You can try to do a search in wikipeida.org - I couldn't find anything there but you might have better luck with other websites...

I'm not sure Adelaide is twinned with anywhere actually....???

I grew up in Melb. and I'm sure the Melbourne Chennai thing is right, but maybe it wasn't finalised.
I don't know about Armidale, nsw, maybe their sister city is 1951.
