Signing "Sincerely yours" in Hindi

I'm sending a letter to an Indian diplomat and would like to add a twist.

Can anyone tell me how to sign "sincerely yours" in Hindi (in Hindi letters)?

Any help much appreciated.

Arun

In hindi letter writing, the most common endings (atleast that's what they teach you in school):

aap ka sevak: your humble servant!!!

aap ka subhchintak: one who thinks good for you (implying you are ready to bribe him!) (not advisable...)

aap ki seva mein: in your service.

"Aapka Vishvasu", literally meaning "Yours Faithfully", is the most apt.

You guys are great.

For those of you interested, here is the best I could do with Aap Ki Seva Mein and Aapka Vishvasu, with Shimla and Mountaingirl's help. I, of course, bear all responsibility for the image:

Aapkaa Vishvaasu is nearer to "sincere". The picture above shows "aapkaa vishvaas". It has missed out the vowel "oo" (the short "oo") I dont have devanaagari fonts here.... so well

getting second thoughts....

suddenly my school-days Hindi file has opened up inside my head. This is what I had learnt.

Aapkaa vishvaasu means (literally) Yours faithfully.

The correct form written then was : aapkaa vishvasneeya. This is what the teacher taught.

I cant get the right word for sincerely. Will look up the dictionary & tell you tmrrw.

The phrase "yours sincerely" cannot be accurately translated. The dictionary showed me two contenders :

1. "antahkaranpoorvak aapkaa"

2. "hridayapoorvak aapkaa"

To my mind they both convey too much "sincerity" than the English phrase "yours sincerely"

Thanks all. I guess I'll stick with Aapkaa vishvaasu.

Let me know if you ever need any help with Hebrew...
