running and biking
any IM'ers interested in long distance running/jogging? or mountain biking trips? i'd love to have some partners to share my sessions with.

Heya,
I'll be moving to Delhi in December and am curious about safe places to jog..particularly long'ish distance, not just the park sidewalks. Do you have any recommendations? (and I know you're male, but any female-friendly ones?) Thanks! |

fellow runner, welcome to Delhi!
best places IMHO are: Lodhi Gardens (2 kms. over cross country paths and pavements) on Lodhi Road. Nehru Park (chanakyapuri) running on roads is not recommended as traffic is heavy - early morning jogs on the road are better, but you have to keep an eye out for school buses and speeding cars. i usually ride a bicycle to my jogging place and back. would love if it is possible for you to join me in a run sometime during your visit. best wishes!  |
