recommendations please

Hi All,
I have 4 days off during Independace day. I was wondering if
it's a good idea to travel around that time. Or should we try to go out of the country.

If you have any travel recommendations within India that won't be too crowed and too hot, I would love to hear them.
(So far we have only been to goa.)
