Quick Hindi question

Quick question: How do you say happy birthday in Hindi? For a little friend's birthday card, if you can transliterate it in English I should be able to work out the Devanagari from there

"Happy Birthday" translates to the following:

"Janamdin ki badhai" which translated literally in english is:

"Congrats on your Birthday"

This is the best we can do in Hindi

More commonly used phrase is:
'Janamdin Mubarak ho'
Its mix of Hindia and Urdu.
In hindi:
' Janamdin ki shubhkamnayein'

Anyone know how to add images into a post? I'd like to check it's correct but my scan only comes through as a bmp, which can't be added to the photo album

(and the links to this section of the help don't work anymore)

take your bmp file to any photo editor (if you are using MicroSoft Windows then there is one by default) open the image and then 'save as' jpg file.
it will reduce its size and you can also upload it here.
