question about ATM card

another request for the expat or our Indian remember. the ATM in India, do they has the logo for *PLUS* and *VISA INTERLINK*? because my card dosen't has *CIRRUS*.

another question is...can I buy DV tape(60 mins or 80 mins) in India? how much per tape in general?

Greetings Chiwai,

1. Most ATMs accept both *PLUS* cards (Visa affiliation) as well as *CIRRUS* (Mastercard affiliation). So worry not!

2. One of my friend once bought "L size" DV cassette from Palika Bazar in Delhi (I know this 'cause she once told me about this and educated me about DV tapes). I am not sure about availability of miniDV ("S" size tapes) or
"M" size cassettes but you can check that at Palika though I am not very optimistic about their availability. Also another thing to note is that you will mostly find tapes conforming to PAL standard (popular in Asia) as opposed to NTSC standard (popular in N. America). Be sure to check the sampling ratio.

Hey guys!

Tomorrow l leave for Madrid and in 4wks l'll be in Nepal! Just a question re ATMs, l will be relying on my HSBC Switch debit card which is connected to cirrus and maestro. I don't expect to have any problems but thought l'd ask the experts here!

I didn't know about the *L* or *S* type of the cassette. all I need is mini DV cassette. so...perhaps someone can clear it up for me?
also, is anyone know the standard/general cost for a mini DV cassette in India?
