Present For A Girl In Varanasi

Another little search for help

A friend of mine is going to Delhi this monday for a business trip.

I have convinced her to take a plane to Varanasi, to spend 4 days that she has to sightseeing.... the thing is that on my last trip ther, I met Sunita, a girl who had a little necklace & bracelet shop near Dasaswamedh ghat ...

WHAT CAN I GIVE TO MY FRIEND, to give to Sunita as a present from Spain??
what do the girls in India like?? I really want to send her something, that makes her happy, since she was sooo good to me, and so nice..

Any ideas????

perfumes, chocolates? better think about something that she will keep forever.

What is her age? How modern is she ? Is she educated ?

Depending on the age you could send her something that she will always remember you by. It could be something that is usable and practical too. A dress or t-shirt could be nice if she is the type who wears one but otherwise it would be a waste of money if she does not wear one. A cosmetic (make-up) box is something that most girls would want to have. Jewellery like earings are fine too and would always remain close to her too. If you have taken a picture of hers with you on your last trip then maybe a picture frame of the picture would also be a bonus to find the girl as well as see that it reaches the right person and not just any girl who your friend might think is the girl for whom the present is meant for.

the framed picture is a very nice idea

that I already had the last time a friend of mine went to Varanasi

so maybe I will think about a box of candy and a box of make up and some kind of Jewellery typical from here.

As you can see, I will take all your advices!!

Hope the list does not grow too much or you will be spending a fortune on the gifts and your friend will be filling up his/her bag with all the goodies you will be sending her!!!
