Pilots in India often fail alcohol tests

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Around 50 pilots each year in India are being grounded because they had consumed alcohol before taking a flight, the country's civil aviation authorities said on Tuesday.

The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), a body controlling airline operations in India, said dozens of pilots are found to have consumed alcohol during routine pre-medical tests every year.

They might be doubting there own flying skills?
Few times i really suspected the pilot of being a former bus driver or someone who was learning and landed a plane for the first time. But this one gives a different view on these experiences.

I'm alive still so most are ok.
