I received a message that Colin posted a reply to my photograph, and beneath the photo I read that there are two comments, but I can see only Maree's and there is no second! Do I do something wrong?

Don't worry, Mirjam - I have some "hidden" comments as well. It is what is called a "known issue," discussed here.
Your photo is, as Mike says, excellent.

Okee, thanks, I did not know about that discussion.
And thanks for you compliment on my photograph, actually, I am working on a series on widowhood. Maybe, I should put them on my website.... |

I should congratulate Maree also since her picture was chosen along side of yours.
The two photos together seem to fit together. There was so many great pictures added this month that just one photo was not enough so two where chosen and it was a tough choice. Thanks to everyone else for adding some great pictures. Excellent!!! Mike |

Photo of the month
Hi guys, was just wondering, as I only joined in July, is there a way to view the 'photos of the month' going back to Aug 2001?
The photo collection on this sight is simply incredible - I reckon a pick of the best would make some gift, and would probably be worth quite a bit. Anyway, keep it up all you photographers, hopefully I'll be adding my own in the future! |

2002
This is a partial list and should be pretty accurate
(maybe). The photo of the month was first started in May 2002. In the beginning there was only one photo chosen. The list below is just a partial list since it takes me some time to dig through the archives to find them. I never really kept a list but did keep the photos that I used so it will take me some time to dig through them. In the beginning I chose the photos of the month but handed that task over to another person on the site. Below is the picks from 2002 May 2002 --------------------------- June 2002 --------------------------- July 2002 --------------------------- August 2002 --------------------------- September 2002 --------------------------- October 2002 --------------------------- November 2002 --------------------------- December 2002 Blank-December of 2002 had no photo of the month since I was on the road and could not find a copy of photoshop |
