phoning India using Skype (PC)?
I tried to call a number today but it kept returning an error message:
Invalid number 0011914542244707 anyone got any ideas? This is the number my gf gave me to call but it wouldn't connect I dont have international dialling setup on my home phone, prolly a good thing to save me money. Any help would be appreciated. |

0091 4542244707

The number is incorrect or does not exist!
When dialling India, the code is 00 91, not 0011 91. I think you have been given an incorrect number. |

haha, say what? I use skype[my username is: soujanya_2003] and this is just a pc-pc call!!! And not like a real phone thingy,Through this, one can only call others through their computers and talk through mic. How interesting if every1 could just dial their international buddies for free? haha

011 prefx is used when you are dailing from AT&T or so of service provider from USA. Otherwise try +91 or 0091, both work for me. Soujanya, skype can be used to make PC-Landline call, but it not free unlike PC to PC.

Dear childs999 - are you sure you don't just have your numbers in the wrong order? 91 is India's country code and 11 is the city code for Delhi.
00 (Int'l call code)- 91 (India country code) - 11 (city code if this is a Delhi number) - 4542244707 (the landline number). 00-91-11-4542244707 good luck. |
