Thanks for the translation Sirensongs.......brilliant!!!

Lotus blossom...Licoria is most probably caused by SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE - there'd be no sex before marriage if there was foul belching, or would there???

<make note to google licoria>

Licoria

I'm sure that's meant to be "Leucorrhea" - but I've no idea what that actually is...

There is such a thing as licoria and it's a herb!!! But while 'googling' I also found a cure for Skin Haemorrhoids!!!

I wish I'd taken a photo of the sign at the bottom of Shatrunjaya Hill, Palitana, Gujarat. This is what it said:

It is advisable not to climb Holy Hill before sunrise. Most valuable ornament. Cash etc. should not be with them. Gaurds staying on each rest venue. As well as two gaurds are ever concurrent in footed mobile duty to relax from arised trouble.

If YOU have a photo, please share it with us...

This is such a classic example of Inglish, even a photo couldn't improve its effect. Somewhere, I have a photo of the sign at the entry to the Tanjavur museum - soooo convoluted I can't even describe it.

I suppose it takes a certain mind-set to notice funny signs - after all, the guy who made them was quite serious!

For instance, some people would look at the sign 'Ears pierced while you wait' and think nothing of it. But... duh... what's the alternative ?!
'Yes sir, leave them on the counter and I'll have them ready for you on Thursday'
