Not sure if i'll have any takers... Yes, yes, i'm naughty, but somehow i've ended up bringing about 3500 Rupees out of India with me. Tut, Tut. So I have two questions: a) Is there any possible way I can change them here in the UK? b) If not, does anyone want to buy them from me at a rate better than the current exchange rate? Likelihood of me going back to India soon is minimal and I could do with the sterling to be honest (even though it is only about £45! Every little helps when youre a student). If anyone is interested then please PM me and we can sort something out. If you're going to India then it's a good deal! Please help! By the way, my first trip to India finsihed last week and it was great! Thanks Laura

The big banks and exchange bureaux won't touch them, but some of the Indian-run exchange bureaux in certain parts of London (and, no doubt, in other cities with significant Indian populations) do accept rupees at a reasonable rate. However... it's only about £40, and hardly worth the effort, so why not just take it to your local Oxfam shop, or donate it to British Airways' Change For Good appeal?

Laura, you need 10 posts before anyone can PM you. Where in the UK? I'll buy them off you.
