Nobel Peace prize

So Barack Obama gets the Nobel Peace prize. Wonder what did he do in 9 months in office to earn that..
Suggest who you think should have got the prize..

My vote for Nicolas sarkozy : For he has the best "piece" God could make as his wife

That has to be the worst taste comment of the century.

While not commenting on whose taste is good or bad, the unsavory comment not withstanding, but why Jag would you presume to have Locus standi in commenting on de_cooky's taste but not Sarkozy's?

No , no trick qustion, I liked the way jag phrased his comment, but not the content of his comment, I thought I would gently steer the subject away from unpalatable personal pointers to a gentler debate on locus Standi.

I liked his intellectual approach to the repartee

What Traveller1 pointed out but kept little short from naming is called inconsistency.
And inconsistency in bahaviour shows the lack of integrity which unfortunately was on display in Mr Jags comments.

Not that he has done anything in foreign policy in the Middle East and Asia to deserve much except ridicule from me, the BBC tells me that he was nominated ten days into his Presidency.

The whole thing is a fluffy farce. But even that is nothing new.

And nobody is noticing that a Tamil man has won a Nobel for chemistry: much more exiting!

Well, maybe that is not so unreasonable; he got rid of Bush, didn't he?
