Would somebody pls advise, are Thai baht easy to change in India, and if so how unfavourable are the exchange rates, or does it make more sense to convert into $ and £?
Also, from another thread, is it better to book a hotel before arrival with a prayer, or play it by ear from Calcutta airport? keda |

Thanks. Can you pls also tell me if there is any difficulty in changing Thai baht, or if it is readily accepted at any bank/bureau?
Just seems odd having converted £ to baht, to then them into £ or $ in order to swap them for rupees. keda |

Batistuta: Thanks for the Thai baht exchange rate, which seems about par with $/baht.
Would somebody pls let me know in a bt of a hurry 'cos it's wheels up on Monday, if the Thai baht is a readily accepted currency, or subject to a runaround. Many thanks keda |
