I'm not, but my great grandfather, Daniel Wilson was a fast bowler for the All-India Cricket team.
Very rare for Indians to be fast bowlers, I've heard. When I was in New Zealand for a year on student exchange in 1990, I went to a match between NZ and India. I met Kapil Dev and Richard Hadlee there, and got their signatures on a cricket ball... Pretty boring game, cricket... It's my opinion that they should throw in some challenges, like exploding pumpkin bombs evry once in a while... Anyway, although I'm not a cricket batsman, I'm a very good pitcher (baseball)... I played on Paterson Eastside HS's field when Joe Clark was there... The next person to reply agrees with me that sports were invented by the bourgeoisie to keep the lower classes at war with one another. R.

True - and not just to get away from the autumnal weather here.
The next person leaves their country at Christmas to get away from all the commercialism and hype involved in the festivities. |
