Lightbulb Name for a baby

Hi all!

Just had a great idea to benefit from this great site!

Please suggest a name for a baby boy...prefereably starting with a 'G'.

The winner will get a cup of chai!

Thanks a lot!

Are we talking about a boy who will be raised in Europe or India?

Would it be possible that we could widen this possibly interesting thread to cool India travel related / type baby names with letters starting with letters other than G.

Not sure why you would want to just stick to that letter????

Thank you all!!!

The reason for G is because of astrology. Most of us have a horoscope (I call it the horror-scope as a lot of things like matchmaking etc depends on this piece of paper!). The pandit (priest) determines the alphabet with which the child should be named - in our horoscope. However you can have a different calling/ official name and never use the name from the horoscope. It is interesting to note that a lot of people also have nicknames - diferent names at home and school. So, imagine having 3 names - 3 different lives! :-)

You don't have to stick to G - you are welcome to suggest names starting with ANY alphabet.

No, this is for my brother's child. I don't want any trouble by stating my marital status here

Lastly the reason I came here for names is because - I am sure most of you travellers have come across a lot of people and sometimes you simply like a name you have heard or are familiar with persons with beautiful name....so i just thought why not? good idea huh?
