My IM friend came.

As informed one of my Threads that my IM friend coming to visit Bangladesh. He is from Nagpur, Maharastra. His name is Shams Hashmi. Actually he is my new friend who found me through Indiamike. 8 th of this month Shams sent a private message to me that he is coming Bangladesh on March 20 th & requested for some information. Through exchanging mails we became closer soon & he came directly to my home on 18 th March & stayed there 4 days with his wife & only son of 4 years. We visited the attractive places of Dhaka with my wife. I think he enjoyed his visit. I also enjoyed their company.

My request to all IM, if you come to Dhaka in near future, please inform me earlier so that I can have some advance arrangement as well as take a coffee together, at least.

This is great to read. I always like hearing about people who've met through websites and got on well.

The only person I've ever met off IndiaMike is Neoncarrot (who hasn't posted here for a while) and his girlfriend who I enjoyed many a drunken night with in Manali this time last year. We still keep in touch now we're both back in Britain, too.

Glad to hear you got on so well, Mahmud.

Actually, we didn’t have enough to time to exchange some cooking ideas. But I got some medical tips from Mrs. Shams as her parents are Homeopath doctors.
