Mosquito Nets
Is one of these necessary? and what type should i get if Im travelling a lot of different places. as you may have guessed i know nothing about nets... so any info would be great. thanks.

If you are planning to stay exclusively in AC rooms in the more expensive guesthouses/hotels, a net is probably not necessary.
I never had one until I lived here.

what kind is the best net to get? as i said i have no clue about mosquito nets... and what types there are... i mean i know there are ones that hang from the celiing... but surely this would be impractical for us....

Well, I find mosquito nets are more for the mosquitos than us humans, because the net traps fresh blood for the mozzies! Once they're in, they can do as they please. I use the plug in mosquito repellents when I'm in India, they don't create must smoke, and you can get a peaceful nights sleep with them switched on.
