Making Cheap(er) Calls to India??
I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any companies that offer cheap(er) calls from the UK to India. I am regularly calling an Indian mobile and it is costing me a fortune! I am currently calling from a Telewest line, or sometimes from my own mobile (eek! so expensive!). Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks!

Yep
Go to your local Asian corner shop they alls ell phone cards to call India I've ued them in the past as have family If you can't find them in edinburgh come over to Glasgow and either go over to the southside to Alison street and their are loads of the shops selling them. Im sure you'll find some shops on Great Western road in the westend as well Good luck Bryan

I use nomi call cards which give a good clear line and work out at around 12p a minute. Available from the interent and also some corner shops I think. Try 1st4phonecards.com or planetphonecards.
I saw the Post Office advertising they had cut their rates to India with their international card and it is now 8 per minute! Always found that quite good as well. Don't bother with the really cheap phone cards offering 4p a minute as I have found the quality is so bad you might as well not have bothered! I have also used phone yahoo messenger with voice and it works ok between pc's here and in India and that is free
