looking for tailor for lady

I am looking for a tailor in India who would make me some outfits to my measurements, and send them to me here in America. I am going to India in Jan., and want some clothes to wear there. Thanks

If you just bring yourself something to wear for the first couple days you can find a tailor in India when you arrive. I don't know where you're landing, but I'm sure you can find somewhere near your hotel do get some stuff made. I think that'd be a lot easier - and much less expensive.

Pretty vague!

So, don't waste your money doing that.

First off, we don't know where in India you are arriving but it doesn't matter because wherever you arrive, you can easily find places to have clothes made to measure. It's very, very common all over India for both men & women. Any guest house or hotel can direct you.

You can be measured the day you arrive, or the next day (better yet when you've had a night's sleep), then within a couple of days you will have something new to wear.

You also don't mention if you want western styles or Indian styles. I'm guessing western. You may find you just want to buy pre-made things at regular shops. They have it all in India now. Easy to find modern, well-made western style clothing at a decent price.

See, by not giving us one jot of information, I get to make up a whole post

Oops, missed the "lady" part. Even easier & faster to have made!!
