SH,
Thanks a lot.... I was transported back to those days... serene Calangute... violet flowers blooming on the weeds.... Royal Hotel... the solitary place at Bagha.... walking accross the stream.... climbing the hill... joining friends at Anjuna for the night... stubb of a candle in a half coconut shell.... Oh Goa...

Me too, Over the headland from Anjuna, Hoping the river was low tide, Wading across, Walking along the deserted beach to Calangute & the GPO to check the Poste Restante, Receiving no mail & walking all the way back,,,,,,,,,,,
The white Church... a short cut accross some one's plantation.... bribing the caretaker at the tourist dormitory to have a shower.... hoping to meet some known guy who has recently got some money.... even bread & fried egggs would do.... craving for things sweet even it means that "pure honey" which is half jaggery.... lazy afternoons... dozing ... spring back to life when some one cried... "Bom....." daily wait & vigil for the sunset....

Quote from blog: "On leaving the hotel we complained about the rat and eventually managed to get the bill reduced to just 3 Rupees each."
And muzzi, someday you will be forty years older and these will be the good old days
